The University of Warwick is a public research university in the English county of Warwickshire, just outside of Coventry. In 1965, the institution was established as part of a government program to increase access to higher education. The University of Warwick is one of the top 10 universities in the UK and among the top 80 worldwide, according to The Times Higher Education’s 2022 World University Rankings. Warwick is ranked 78th in the world and ninth in the UK. It is ranked 61st worldwide in 2022 by QS. The acceptance rate for UG and PG programs at the University of Warwick is 14%. This 56-year-old UK higher-education institution Professor Oliver Hart, an honorary graduate of the University of Oxford, has been given the 2016 Nobel Prize in Economics.

Entry Requirements:

Undergraduate:

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) F.A/F.Sc/ICS/I.Com/DBA/DCom only considered for foundation year. For applicants who would like to apply for our IFP, we would require you to achieve the Intermediate/Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), with a minimum 70% overall in the final year.
BA/BSc (Pass), BTech (Pass) with 4-6 semesters/50+ credit hours can directly apply for the undergraduate programs.
3 A Levels: A*A*A—- A*AA/ AAA — ABB 
International Baccalaureate 38 to include 5 in Higher Level 
34 to include 5 at Higher Level 
38 with 6,6,6 at Higher Level
39 overall to include 7 in Higher Level data science

Postgraduate:

BA/BSc/BE/BArch/BSc Eng/BSc Agri/BTech (Hons)MA/MSc (16 years)/LLB/B.Com (Hons)/MBBS/DVM/BDS/Pharm d with 8-10 semesters/124 – 140 Credit Hours can apply for masters taught program.

English Language requirements:

IELTS: 6.5 including a minimum of 6.0 in each component

7.0 including a minimum of 6.5 in each component (economics, Global Sustainable Development, law, Modern Languages and Cultures, Warwick Business School)

TOEFL: 2 (iBT or iBT Special Home Edition) with a minimum of 21 in Listening, 21 in Writing, 22 in Reading, and 23 in Speaking

100 (iBT or iBT Special Home Edition) with a minimum of 21 in Listening, 21 in Writing, 22 in Reading, and 23 in Speaking (economics, Global Sustainable Development Law, Modern Languages and Cultures, Warwick Business School)

PTE: 69 with no less than 59 in any of the Communicative Skills

For Postgraduate:

Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be self-funded*
  • Be classed as an ‘overseas’ or ‘international-fee paying’ student for tuition fee purposes
  • Have applied for a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Warwick starting in 2023 before the UCAS application deadline of 26 January 2023.   • Submit a scholarship application before 5:00 pm on, Monday 28th March 2023 BST

We’ll be automatically considering all applicants who have accepted a Conditional Offer and paid their academic deposit for the course by 30th June 2023 and will be shortlisting these applicants based on their Personal Statements and academic background.

In order to be considered for any of our academic scholarships, you must submit an application for the Warwick IFP 2022-23 program, receive an offer of a place, and pay the £ 2,000 GBP academic deposit by 30 June 2023.

In order to be eligible for any of our scholarships, you must be self-funding and not in receipt of any other fee scholarships or fee awards from the University of Warwick or elsewhere.
