There are three entry points for many graduate programs: September, January, and May.
- Year 1 entry: January 31 for entry in September of the same year.
- Year 2 or later: January 31 for entry in September of the same year.
All concerns for admission must be completed by April 30, and in the case of transfer Candidates, documented with UVic by May 31.

University of Victoria scholarships:
VU INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP :
The VU International Scholarship supports new international students who plan to commence their higher education diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate (coursework) studies in 2023.
How to apply:
Students will be assessed automatically after submitting their application for an eligible course.
Value (2023 commencement):
10% tuition fee depletion for the entire standard time scale of acceptable courses (calculated from the date of commencement to the course end date in the letter of offer).
Terms & conditions
- Students must pay the required tuition fee deposit to accept their offer. The remaining balance is due before the course start date.
- Students who have received a fellowship from another organization for their VU course are not eligible for this scholarship.
Successful candidates will be notified in their full offer letter. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.
VU GLOBAL LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP
The VU Global Leaders Scholarship supports new international students who plan to begin their higher education diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) studies
How to apply:
Students will be evaluated automatically after submitting their application for an available course.
Value:
20% tuition fee reduction for the entire standard duration of eligible courses (calculated from the date of commencement to the course end date in the letter of offer).
VU FUTURE LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP (INTERNATIONAL)
The VU Future Leaders Scholarship (International) supports international students who commenced their higher education diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) studies
How to apply:
Students were required to confirm that they wish to be considered for the scholarship at the time they submit their application for admission into an eligible VU qualification. Scholarship eligibility can only be assessed after the applicant has met the course entry requirements.
Value
20% off the first two semesters’ tuition fee. Upon successful completion of two semesters, students will be assessed for an extension of the scholarship based on academic performance. This is valued at 10% off the tuition fee per semester for the remainder of their studies.
