Zonta Club Noosa Women Coast Postgraduate Scholarship
To assist students continuing in a Bachelor of Environmental Science, a Bachelor of Science, and a Bachelor of Animal Ecology with an environmental focus. The Zonta Club of Noosa was chartered in 1993 and, since then, has raised and distributed more than $650,000 to improve the status of women, locally, nationally, and internationally, including projects in conjunction with UNICEF and UNIFEM.

Eligibility
- Female students enrolled full-time at UniSC in the Bachelor of Environmental Science, a Bachelor of Science, or a Bachelor of Animal Ecology with an environmental focus as a single or part of a double degree.
- in second year or above, including Honours, through to the final year of a Masters program
- Receiving Centrelink income support (e.g., Abstudy, Austudy, Youth Allowance, other Centrelink pension) or may be prevented from continuing study due to financial hardship
- passing grade point average
- Students may only apply for one Zonta Club of Noosa bursary per year.
- Previous recipients may not apply.
Selection criteria
- demonstrated commitment to the environment and community
- has provided or is likely to give a significant contribution to the local community upon completion of the study
- academic merit

Applications for Semester 1 will open in early 2024.
UniSC Indigenous Scholarship
These scholarships encourage progression to Honours level or a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) or Postgraduate study.
The UniSC Indigenous Scholarship was established in 2011 to support a new or continuing student wishing to pursue Postgraduate studies, an Honours undergraduate qualification, or a Higher Degree by Research (HDR).

Eligibility
- A commencing student (e.g., existing students are not eligible)
- must have completed an undergraduate qualification in any discipline
- Applicants will be considered ineligible if currently in receipt of another significant UniSC or external scholarship (this does not include bursaries)
- Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand citizen, or Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
Selection criteria
- Applicants will be assessed based on:
- financial need
- demonstrated involvement within or for indigenous communities
