The University of Salford is a red brick public research institution located one mile west of Manchester city center in Salford, Greater Manchester, England. It was established in 1896 as the Royal Technical Institute (university status 1967). The University is placed 801 in Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings. In the Q.S. A minimum of 80% at HSC, or lower grades plus a recognized foundation year, or a two-year bachelor’s degree with 50% or more (individual program requirements may differ).

Award: The Global Silver Excellence Scholarship is worth £3,000.
- To be eligible for this scholarship, you must apply for the first year of full-time study in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate master’s program in our 2022-23 academic year.
- If you are an undergraduate applicant, you must hold an offer for an eligible program and achieve A-level grades BBC or equivalent.
Students in the following courses are not eligible to apply for this scholarship

Salford International Excellence Scholarship
Our international scholarship committee judges the Salford International Excellence Scholarship. Successful applicants are awarded between £1,000 and £5,000. You must have applied for a course and received an offer for the 2023/24 academic year.
You have an offer to study an undergraduate (bachelor’s) program and have gained advanced entry so that you will begin your studies in Year two or three rather than Year one.
