Ireland’s capital city of Dublin is home to Trinity College Dublin. 1592 saw the founding of Trinity College. It is the world’s 12th most international university in 2022 global rankings provided by Times Higher Education. According to the 2023 QS World University Ranking, it ranks 98 worldwide. In the list of Best Global Universities, Trinity College Dublin comes in #222. Trinity College has a 33.5% acceptance rate.

Trinity College Dublin Entry requirements:

Undergraduate:

Intermediate/Higher Secondary Certificate with 70% overall in the final year with foundation year.

International Baccalaureate: minimum of 30—32 points

A-levels: AAA–ABB

Postgraduate:

At least a 2.1 honors degree from an Irish university or an equivalent result from a university in another country.

IELTS: 6.5 (no individual band below 6)

TOEFL: 90 (with a written score of 21).

Trinity College Dublin Scholarships:

Academic Year Study Abroad Excellence Scholarship

Scholarship Value: €3,000

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the scholarship, students must: Apply to Trinity as undergraduate study abroad students. Applicants must apply for admission to study abroad at Trinity. Please note that Scholarship students must meet all minimum entry requirements, including the minimum GPA of 3.3. Submit a complete scholarship application

How to apply

Students must submit a personal statement of 750 words and a transcript to [email protected] by the deadline, with the email subject line ‘Academic Year Study Abroad Excellence Scholarship.

Criteria for selection

Students will be selected based on their academic performance at their home university. Performance in their major and minor subjects will be particularly relevant to their application, as will be the student’s personal statement.

Global Excellence Undergraduate Scholarships

Award:

Scholarships valued at up to 5000 euros each applied as a reduction to the tuition fees of a full-time undergraduate program for the first year of study only.

Selection Criteria:

The scholarship will be assessed based on academic achievement and evaluation of the applicant’s potential to contribute to the overall Trinity community. Several scholarships are available in the following areas: Full-time undergraduate programs (except Medicine, Dentistry, and Acting). You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt of the scholarship request. Your Regional Officer will inform you if you’ve been selected for a scholarship.

Sport Scholarships

Every year sports scholarships are awarded to students of national and international standards who come to study and compete for Trinity. The scholarships provide the following benefits: Financial contribution of between €750 and €1500, Physiological assessment, fitness testing, and follow-up training, Workshops including nutrition and psychology Cardiac screening Scholarships are open to all sports and are tenable for one year. However, they may be renewed annually for up to four years.

Global Excellence Postgraduate ScholarshipsAward:

Scholarships valued between €2000 to €5000 each, applied as a reduction to the tuition fees of a full-time postgraduate program for the first year of study only.

Several scholarships are available in the following areas: Full-time taught postgraduate programs (applicants to the School of Business should apply to the School of Business Scholarship.)

Who can apply:

Applicants who have non-EU status will pay tuition fees at the non-EU rate.

The scholarship will be assessed based on academic achievement and evaluation of the applicant’s potential to contribute to the overall Trinity community.
