Automatic Entrance Awards
International Scholarship Programme for Special Entrance in 2022–2023
Upon completion of high school education outside of Canada, prospective international students wishing to enrol at UWinnipeg in the 2022–2023 academic year will automatically be considered for an International Special Entrance Scholarship. There is no need to submit a separate scholarship application; these entrance scholarships will be awarded automatically during the standard admissions application process.
Scholarships for Special Entrance
The Special Entrance Scholarships are given out automatically to Grade 12 graduates who are studying abroad or who are international students from the United States who are following a Canadian curriculum. These requirements must be fulfilled by every student. There is no requirement to submit an application for these scholarships.

Eligibility Notes
Students must enrol in a minimum of 18 credit hours for the fall and winter terms, have a final Grade 12 award average of at least 85%, have submitted a complete admissions application with payment by March 1, and not have received a UW Entrance award of more than $5,000.
President’s Scholarship for World Leaders
For overseas students enrolling for the first time in any of the university’s divisions, the University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders is given:
