The University of Medicine and Health Sciences is another name for the medical professional and educational organization known as the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. It began in 1784 with the Royal Charter. According to QS WUR Ranking by Subject 2022, it is rated #151–200. In addition, it is at 1045th best university in the world list. The university also boasts a stellar 46% acceptance rate.

Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Admission Requirements:

Undergraduate:

achieve a minimum average score of 90% or above across five subjects

International baccalaureate: minimum score of 36 IB Diploma points (inclusive of bonus points)

A-levels: AAA

Postgraduate:

Hold the degree of MB/BAO/BCh or equivalent. Be registered and in good standing with your professional registration body

English Language Requirements:

IELTS: 6.5 with no individual band (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) lower than 6.0.TOEFL: overall 79 – 95

Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Scholarship:

International Pharmacy Scholarship

The scholarship offers a 50% reduction in fees, meaning the balance of tuition fees liable by the student is €12,500 per annum.

Apply as a standard Non-EU applicant to the Pharmacy program.

Award and requirements

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of €25,000, provided on the following basis:

the four-year program will receive €6,250 per academic year

Apprentices in the five-year program will receive €5,000 per academic year

Students in the six-year program will receive €4,167 per academic year

Eligibility criteria

Students who apply for the International Scholarship must be:

Non-EU and self-funding students who are not in receipt of other scholarship funding.

First time attending RCSI.

Scholarship awards are made at the discretion of the University.

The number of scholarships providing by the University may vary from year-to-year.
