Overseas Excellence Scholarship

The Royal Agricultural University invites applications for Vice-Chancellor’s Overseas Excellence Scholarships for the 2023 academic year. Overseas (Non-EU) students are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

Eligible Countries: International students
To be taken at (country): U.K
Eligible Field of Study: Scholarship is available for pursuing an undergraduate Programme.

RAU Sports Scholarship

Award: The award is worth up to a maximum of £3,000 for one year only, but re-applications for each year of study are welcomed.

About the scholarship
Part-time scholars will be awarded a pro-rata percentage of the award divided between the number of years of study.

Amount of award dependent on the level of attainment, i.e., National or International – £1,500 for national participation and £3,000 for international participation.

Paid in three installments – Autumn, Spring, and Summer.

Criteria and eligibility

  1. U.K. and overseas students.
  2. Attainment at the National or International level of the sport.
  3. Commitment to promoting the University’s profile through participation in sporting endeavors and competitions.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship

Type of award: Postgraduate Taught Master
Amount: Each scholarship provides the following:

  1. Approved tuition fees
  2. Stipend (living allowance) at the rate of £1,133 per month
  3. Study travel grant towards the costs of study-related travel within the U.K. or overseas – claimed from and paid by the University

Eligibility: To apply for these scholarships, you must:

  1. Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
  2. Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country
  3. Be available to start your academic studies in the U.K. by the start of the U.K. academic year in September 2022
  4. By September 2022, hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honors standard
