Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a current or past student at one of the following institutions:
- South Metropolitan TAFE
- North Metropolitan TAFE
- Regional TAFE
- be completing, or have completed a diploma, advanced diploma, or an associate degree in the same field as your Murdoch University bachelor’s degree course
- have applied to Murdoch University or are commencing your first semester in one of Murdoch University’s courses;
- Commence at Murdoch University within one semester of completing your TAFE course.
- Permit your image and name to be used by the University in their media and publications.
- This scholarship is available to both international and domestic students. However, international students receiving an International Welcome Scholarship are not eligible for the TAFE WA Scholarship.
How to Apply
Payment Method
Subject to the terms and conditions of the award being met, the $3,000 award is paid in two equal instalments (of AU$1,500 each) directly into your nominated Australian bank account in week 7 or 8 of each of the first two consecutive semesters of study.

Eligibility
You could be eligible if you meet all of the following requirements:
- you are an international, whole fee-paying student
- Starting studies at one of Murdoch’s Western Australian campuses in 2022 to 2024 intakes
- you are beginning studies in an eligible Murdoch coursework degree
- Not receiving any other Murdoch scholarship
Eligible to receive this scholarship if you:
- are an Australian citizen or permanent residency visa holder;
- are not required to pay international student tuition fees;
- have received an Australian Government scholarship that covers all or part of your tuition fees;
- are sponsored by a non-Australian Government funding body that holds a scholarship agreement with Murdoch University.
Eligible courses
- Bachelor, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, and master by coursework degrees available to international students and delivered at one of Murdoch’s Western Australian campuses (excluding the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Veterinary Biology, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Applied Psychology in Clinical Psychology as these are ineligible courses)

You do not need to apply for this scholarship as it is automatically awarded to students who meet all the eligibility criteria during admission.
Payment Method
This scholarship works as a 20% tuition fee contribution and is automatically deducted from the course tuition fee each teaching period for the course duration.
It will be credited to a recipient’s Murdoch University tuition fee account and cannot be accessed by the recipient.

Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Have completed, at a minimum, the units that comprise the Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Biology
- be enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University
- Intend to engage in any extramural placement that meets the requirements of Murdoch’s School of Veterinary Medicine
- Can provide a letter from the organization or veterinarian supervising the extramural project confirming an arrangement.
