Monash University offers Monash graduate scholarships that have the ambition and capabilities to address the global challenges of our age through its excellence in education and research, its record for innovation and collaboration, and its international profile. Merit and equity scholarships help high achievers succeed despite disadvantages. It provides a range of coursework scholarships, including postgraduate, research, and international opportunities. Fully funded scholarships are present for international students for 2024–2025.

How to apply
Unless you are already pursuing, you must apply for graduate research scholarships at the same time you register for your course.

Monash International Leadership Scholarship

Benefits
- 100% of course fees are reimbursed until you reach the minimum number of points for your degree (excluding OSHC, housing, and living expenses).
- Beginning undergraduate students will be encouraged to apply for a spot in Monash Minds, a first-year leadership program.
- Recipients may be requested to participate or be profiled in marketing, recruitment, and promotional materials or events related to Monash.
Selection criteria

- The assessment of the students will also depend on their scholarship application statement (500 words) and their ability to be a Monash University ambassador.
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester.
- The requirement is to participate in at least three Marketing and/or Scholarship promotional activities. These activities include attendance at official scholarship functions and participating in marketing activities and networking events.
To retain this scholarship:
- Each semester, you must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70.
- You must take part in at least three marketing and/or scholarship promotion activities. These activities include attending formal scholarship occasions as well as marketing and networking events.
Eligibility
You must be one of the following:
- An International student.
- Intention to enroll full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at an Australian Monash campus.
- Received a full Monash course offer.
Note: Not eligible to apply for this scholarship if:
- Current Monash students
- Students studying Australian Year 12. You may be eligible for the. Monash International Scholarship for Excellence. Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in medical science, a doctorate in medicine, or a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).Monash Pathway students (Monash College and Foundation Year at Monash University).
- Transfer students from another Monash campus or students applying to Monash from another Australian university.
How to apply
- Submission of a separate application form for this scholarship is a must.
- You must have obtained a full Monash course offer with no conditions before applying for this scholarship.
- Only within the same calendar year may it be postponed.
- Do not provide any supporting documentation with your application; it will be ignored.

Selection criteria
Outstanding academic success, interest in financial research professions, and interview performance helps to choose candidates.
To keep this scholarship, you must do the following:
- If your ability to continue in the Ph.D. program is considered unsatisfactory after the first year, the department has the right to terminate the scholarship.
- You must maintain full-time enrolment.

How to apply
- Applications are submitted directly to the faculty. Shortlisted applicants will attend a 30-minute interview with a panel constituted by the Master of Commerce Programme Director
- The scholarship can be deferred under special circumstances only.
