Flinders University is a public research university based in Adelaide, South Australia, with a footprint extending across 11 locations in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Began in 1966, it gets its name in honor of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. It ranks #380 in the QS World University Rankings 2024. Flinders University comes 301 in the World University Rankings by Times Higher Education. The university also holds #426th position in Best Global Universities.
Flinders offers a 100% tuition fee scholarship for international undergraduate students from a refugee background. All Flinders Academy Diploma and Foundations Studies students are eligible for a 20% scholarship. Flinders University Scholarships are designed to support international students who wish to undertake full-time study at the university.
Flinders International High School Scholarships Australia
The scholorship has been designed to recognise international students with high academic performance who are studying an Australian high school curriculum, either onshore in Australia or offshore at an approved international school, who commence an undergraduate course with Flinders.

Selection process
- These scholarships are competitive awards and are confirmed through a selection process. For those shortlisted, you must complete a video submission outlining your suitability for the scholarship.
- Applicants will be notified of the scholarship outcome during the selection process.
- Applicants eligible for an alternate scholarship will be issued an offer, including a scholarship, at the time of application.
- Successful recipients must participate in the Flinder international ambasdor programme and actively support Flinders University in promoting Flinders globally.
