2023 and 2024 International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
The International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is available to international students from selected countries who can demonstrate a high level of academic achievement in their previous studies. The scholarship offers a 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course at ECU. The scholarships are open to future international students seeking to enroll at Edith Cowan University in a bachelor degree. This scholarship has limited places available.

- Scholarship recipients will receive financial assistance amounting to a 20% reduction off their tuition fees for the duration of their ECU course.
Eligibility guidelines
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be a citizen of one of the countries identified above;
- be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);
- study onshore at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley or ECU South West (Bunbury) Campus;
- not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship;
- between 06 March 2023 and 13 August 2024, be issued an offer to study an undergraduate degree;
- meet ECU’s higher entry requirements (review secondary school results in the country you completed your secondary study) and;
- meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence study onshore at ECU, Western Australia in Semester Two 2023, November 2023 (Summer School), or in Semester One or Two, 2024; and
- study in an eligible undergraduate degree (excluding Bachelor of Science (Nursing) C33;

2023 and 2024 International Australian Alumni Scholarship
The 2024 International Australian Alumni Scholarship recognizes a connection international students have to Australian study. It is open to students from all nationalities who have previously completed an education program in Australia. The scholarship offers a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of your course at ECU.

- Each applicant must be an international student who, at the time of applying, has completed, or is currently studying and is due to complete by 13 August 2024 one of the qualifying programs listed below, and receive an offer to study a course at ECU during the 2024 intake;
- Open to prospective international students including ECU Alumni, who have completed their original degree and receive an offer to enroll in Semester Two, 2023, November 2023, or 2024 into a new degree (for example those progressing from Bachelor to Masters courses).
- Available for entry into selected undergraduate and postgraduate courses as listed in the eligibility guidelines below.
- Scholarship recipients will receive financial assistance amounting to a 20% reduction of their tuition fees for the duration of their ECU course.
Eligibility guidelines
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
Have completed, or due to complete by 13 August 2024, one of the following qualifying programs in Australia
- an English course (minimum 5 weeks);
- a Study Abroad or Student Exchange program;a University Foundation program;Secondary Schooling;Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate degree at any Vocational Education and Training provider;
- an equivalent of ECU’s 60 Credit Points in an undergraduate or postgraduate course from another institution where the previous attainment meets the requisite level of academic achievement as determined by ECU.
- be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);
- between 6 March 2023 and 13 August 2024, receive an offer to study at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley, ECU South West (Bunbury);
- not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship except SACM administered;
- have not been issued a COE (Confirmation of Enrolment) relating to any ECU course before 6 March 2023;
- meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence study onshore, in an eligible undergraduate and post-graduate degree at ECU, Western Australia in Semester Two 2023, November 2023 (Summer School), or in Semester One or Two, 2024.
