Centre for Precision Health Masters Scholarship
The Centre for Precision Health (CPH) is seeking Masters by Research candidates to undertake research in the Centre. The scholarship includes a stipend of $6,000 per annum paid in two instalments each year for a maximum of two years full-time.

Eligibility guidelines
To be eligible for this Scholarship you must have met the minimum requirements below:
- Have graduated from an undergraduate degree as of the end of semester 2023;
- Have been made an unconditional offer of a place in an ECU Master of Medical and Health Science by Research (J90) course to commence in 2024
If you have submitted an application for course entry and have not yet been issued an offer you can apply for this scholarship and your application will be assessed subject to you receiving an unconditional course offer by the scholarship closing date of 2 February 2024.
You are not eligible to apply if any of the below apply:
- You are already in receipt of another scholarship.
- If your commencement period for the Master of Medical and Health Science by Research course is after Semester 1, 2024.

- Evidence of English-language proficiency (only relevant to applicants whose previous studies were not in English).

Terms and conditions
- Awardees of this scholarship must be continuously studying full-time in the Master of Medical and Health Science by Research (J90) course and maintain good academic standing.
- Awardees (HDR students) are expected to be actively engaged in Centre for Precision Health activities.
- Transfer to a different ECU course or project will result in loss of this scholarship.
2023 and 2024 International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
The International Masters Scholarship is available to international students from selected countries who are applying for select Master’s degrees at ECU. The scholarship offers a 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the first year of your Master’s course at ECU. The scholarships are open to future international students seeking to enroll at Edith Cowan University.

Eligibility guidelines
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be a citizen of one of the countries identified above;
- be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);
- study at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley, or ECU South West (Bunbury) Campus;
- not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship except SACM administered;
- between 6 March 2023 and 13 August 2024 , be issued an offer to study a postgraduate degree;
- meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence study onshore, in an eligible postgraduate degree at ECU, Western Australia in Semester Two, 2023, November 2023 (Summer School), or in Semester One or Two, 2024; and
- study one of the following postgraduate courses:

If it approves your ECU course application, you’ll automatically be assessed for this scholarship by the Admissions Office. There is no requirement for a separate scholarship application.
The Admissions Office will issue a separate letter relating to your scholarship, along with a Letter of Offer for your course, to confirm whether you’ve been successful.
Executive Dean’s 2023 and 2024 Master of Engineering Scholarship
The 2024 Executive Dean’s Scholarship is available to International students who can demonstrate high academic achievement in their previous studies. All applicants who meet the criteria are automatically eligible for this scholarship when they apply for a select postgraduate course within the School of Engineering. The scholarship offers a 20 percent reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course at ECU.

Eligibility Guidelines
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);
- meet a meritorious level of academic achievement in your previous studies (as determined by ECU);
- not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship except SACM administered;
- between 06 March 2023 and 13 August 2024 be issued an offer to study the Master of Engineering (I59) or the Master of Engineering Science (J63) course at ECU Joondalup (some components of your course may be delivered online due to travel restrictions)
- meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence your course during Semester Two, 2023, November 2023 (Summer School), or the 2024 Intake.
