The Bond University HDR Scholarships (BUPRS) are awarded through a competitive application process the Bond University PHD Scholarship. Bond scholarships are designed to reward and recognize students who have excelled in academia, leadership, community engagement, and sport. Bond University is committed to providing a high-level Higher Degree by Research (HDR) experience to ensure success in students’ research and research training.
Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship
The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) stipends are provided to support the general living costs of both domestic and overseas students undertaking research doctorate degrees.

Scheme and description
A limited number of scholarships are available to domestic and overseas doctoral students who wish to continue their education through a PhD program. The RTP scholarship is available through a competitive application process. The Bond University HDR Scholarships Committee meets biannually to grant fee waivers and living stipends based on a merit-based selection process. Students cannot apply if they receive an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset HDR fees.

Eligibility
Before your scholarship application, following are the considerations:
- a valid Bond University Letter of Offer for a Ph. .D. program or a Professional Doctorate of Occupational Therapy.
- You must be studying your program full-time
- If you have previously applied for a Higher Degree Scholarship at Bond University and were unsuccessful, you may submit one additional application for scholarship, outlining your change in circumstances. Applicants who are unsuccessful in their second application are ineligible to apply for future scholarship rounds.

- The scholarship application process is open to domestic and international HDR students who are studying or intend to pursue a Doctoral Research Degree at Bond University.
- Your scholarship application will be accepted once you have received a valid Letter of Offer for admission to a doctoral research program from Bond University Admissions Department.
- Some applications for admission can take up to 6 -10 weeks to complete. Ensure you allow sufficient time to process your application for admission before the scholarship round closure date.

- Research Project Proposal
- Official Academic Transcripts for all programs that you have completed and the results/grades awarded, including information on institution grading systems/scales, and evidence of completion
- Official English language translations of documents not in English )Bond University Document Translation Requirements
- If English is not your first language, proof of English language proficiency (refer to Bond University English Language Requirements)

About the scholarship
- Bond University values its higher-degree research student cohort and provides many students with substantial direct financial support. Bond University allocates funds to support the economic costs of fee offset (waiver) and living stipends.
- A limited number of scholarships are available to domestic and overseas doctoral students who wish to continue their education through a Higher Degree Research (HDR) PhD program.
- Through a competitive application scholarship will be awarded
- The Bond University HDR Scholarships Committee meets biannually to award fee waivers. Also, living stipends depending on a merit-based selection process.
- Students cannot apply if they receive an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset HDR fees.
