The first private institution in the GCC, Ajman University, was founded on June 17th, 1988. The Ajman University College of Science and Technology, which later changed its name to “Ajman University of Science and Technology,” was the initial campus in the United Arab Emirates to accept foreign students. The name was changed to “Ajman University UAE” once more in 2018. According to the 2022 QS University rankings, Ajman University is placed #8 in the UAE and among the top 30 institutions in the Arab world.

Entry Requirements

Complete at least 12 years of schooling.
EmSAT Arabic Language: A minimum score of 800.
EmSAT English – Achieve – 1400+ OR IELTS 6.0 (or other accepted equivalents)
Written test (Duration: 1 hr.)
EmSAT English – Achieve – 1500+ OR IELTS 6.5 (or other accepted equivalents)

Students will be evaluated based on their performance in high school, equivalent to 90% in the UAE MOE system
Students will be evaluated based on their performance in high school, equivalent to 98% in the UAE MOE system
Must pass the personal interview set by the college for the programs of MBBS, BDS, pharmacy, law, and all programs of the College of Business Administration

IB High Level (HL) in 3 of the 4 subjects
(Chemistry, Biology or Physics, or Math) with a Score of 544
IB Diploma: Total of at least 26 points with an HL score of 566
IB Diploma Total of at least 30

A minimum High School Average of 85% for Advanced Track or equivalent or at least 80% in Standardized International Systems.
An Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) score of 1100 for the English language or an equivalent English Proficiency Test approved by the CAA such as a TOEFL ITP score of 500, or 5.0 IELTS academic.

Passing the Admission Exam designed by the College of Pharmacy which includes the following basic science subjects: Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. & Mathematics.
Passing a personal interview set by the College of Pharmacy.

Admission to Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Architectural Engineering programs require a UAE Secondary School Certificate (Science Major) or equivalent with a minimum average of 70% and a minimum TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent.

Admission to Interior Design requires a UAE Secondary School Certificate (Science or Arts Major) or equivalent with a minimum average of 60% and a minimum TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent.

Postgraduate

A recognized Bachelor’s degree earned in a BPharm program or its equivalent with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its established equivalent;
Require a score of 1400 on the English language portion of the EmSAT examination, or its equivalents on other national or internationally-recognized tests that are approved by the CAA, such as TOEFL ITP score of 550, or 6.0 IELTS academic

The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its established equivalent, in the applicant’s bachelor’s degree in Dentistry

A minimum score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or a minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is required for admission to the program.

Admission to the Master in Architecture and Urban Studies requires
A Bachelor’s degree in architecture or civil engineering with a minimum undergraduate CGPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4 or equivalent,

A TOEFL score of no less than 550 or equivalent, and two letters of recommendation are to be sent by appropriate academic referees before the student can be considered for the program.

Graduation Requirements for Bachelor’s Programs

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree is awarded upon the fulfillment of the following:
Successful completion of all courses in the curriculum
Successful completion of practical engineering training
A final Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of no less than 2.0 on a scale of 4.5

For the MBA program

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 awarded by an accredited
An educational institution approved by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education
A minimum TOEFL score of 550, or the equivalent

Doctor of Business Administration

minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale
