This scholarship category awards eligible students 25% off their first year of tuition.

All postgraduate degrees (master by coursework only) available to international students
Eligibility criteria
This scholarship is only for:
- International, fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality except Australian
- Students who have met or exceeded the higher academic cut-off score determined by Curtin specific to this Scholarship
- Students commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses for the first time in 2024
- Students commencing a full Curtin master course program
Please note that this scholarship:
- Covers a maximum of 25% of the first-year tuition fee up to a MAXIMUM of 200 credit points only
- Only applicable in full for students who are completing a minimum of 400 credit points within their mainstream course
- Will only amount to 25% of the first-semester tuition fee for students who are completing a minimum of 300 credit points within their mainstream course
- Only covers tuition fees and does not cover any other international student expense
- Will be credited to recipient’s fee account by census date of the study period
- Scholarship value credited cannot be accessed/refunded in cash
- Revokes at the discretion of Curtin if recipient already has a scholarship or sponsorship
- Can be revoked if the recipient does not accept their Letter of Offer or enrol in their course by the date specified
- CANNOT be retained if a recipient defers their studies beyond a 2024 start date
- CANNOT be transferred to a Curtin campus or partner outside Western Australia, or to another university
- Will NOT be extended beyond its prescribed duration or amount unless notified otherwise by Curtin
Application process
There is no requirement for a separate scholarship application.
2024 Global Curtin Study Abroad Scholarship
Curtin University offers a one-semester Study Abroad scholarship to our Study Abroad students. It provides eligible students with 25% off one semester of the 2024 not-for-degree study abroad tuition fee.

Eligibility criteria
The scholarship is only for:
- An international student, not-for-degree study abroad and non-sponsored student and
- Enrolment in a Curtin not-for-degree study abroad program in 2024 (course) and
- Students who will be studying at Curtin Western Australia (WA campus) for the first time in 2024 and
- Students who meet Curtin’s entry requirement for the course.
To prevent revoke of the scholarship, the recipient:
- Must maintain a full-time enrolment in the not-for-degree study abroad program for the duration of the Scholarship.
- Must not defer the Scholarship beyond 2024.
- Abide by Curtin’s policies and procedures, Student Charter, and not guilty of serious misconduct.
- Not received, held, or awarded any other Curtin Scholarship while receiving this Scholarship.
- No transfer is available to a Curtin campus or partner outside of WA or another university.
- Must meet the Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship either voluntarily or involuntarily. In case of revoke, the student must pay any outstanding fees for the not-for-degree study abroad program at Curtin.
